The Raising a Scholar Scholarly Enrichment Program is a tutoring initiative to support students facing challenges that limit their access to educational resources. Many schools today struggle with a shortage of experienced teachers, insufficient infrastructure, outdated technology, and a lack of quality curriculum.
As a mentor, you will play a crucial role in mitigating these issues by directly supporting an assigned student on scheduled tutoring days.

Orientation
After submitting your mentor interest form, you will receive an email from a representative with further instructions. Your next step will be to register for orientation, where you’ll receive comprehensive training to prepare you for successful mentoring sessions.
Meet And Greet
The Raising a Scholar Meet and Greet is one of the most exciting parts of being a Mentor! After training, mentors are paired with students based on specific criteria. Before sessions begin, mentors and mentees exchange fun, casual introduction videos, providing a chance to introduce themselves and connect with their potential mentees.

Congratulations! You did it. Now that you’re an official mentor, you can begin bonding, learning, and growing with your mentee. Our program supervisors and ambassadors are here to support you every step of the way.
